Development of an Improved GMPPT Based on Scanning Method for PV System Operating under a Dynamic Partial Shading Conditions

Under partial shading conditions (PSCs), the P-V characteristic of a photovoltaic (PV) array becomes more complicated due to presence than one power peak in contrast normal (without shading) where there is only named Maximum Power Point (MPP). In this paper, an improved scanning method track Global (GMPP) with good tracking speed proposed. The objective reduce response time by limiting search interval scan points scaning method, which makes GMPP fast and efficient under PSCs. effectiveness verified using PV simulator. results demonstrated that proposed effectively tracks different PSCs has excellent performance terms (1.4 s) efficiency (99.50%), improves system 0.55 s. 0.4%, respectively, when compared method.
